Overview: The Student Record Specialist helps assist in activities required for the registration of students and maintenance of student records.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains all student records accurately and assists with bi-annual internal audits. Coordinates receipt of student transcripts and forwards to appropriate dean. Enters student data information into the database. Evaluates accuracy of and issues student transcripts. Processes forms and student information report. Enters the Master Scheduling information into PeopleSoft. Processes and distributes student grade reports, student class schedules, and appropriate quarter start documents (such as class rosters, etc.). Processes drop/add requests. Processes documents for I-20, VA, rehab, and IPEDS. Verifies all graduating student records have been reviewed by a dean to ensure all program completion requirements have been met. Orders degrees/diplomas and facilitates the ordering of caps and gowns.  Job Specifications: Associate’s degree required. Experience in a multi-cultural environment preferred. Work experience in a Registrar’s office or Education institution preferred. Proven, excellent interpersonal communication skills and work with both students and faculty and staff to effectively accomplish position responsibilities.
