| Details: Software Engineer, Banking SolutionsSummary: We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Financial Transaction Architecture team. You’ll be instrumental in developing and maintaining financial transaction software with one of our banking partners providing our customers with the seamless financial processing that they have experienced over the past 35 years. Your initial responsibility will be driving the design, development and integration of a banking system that interfaces with our existing software. You will partner with cross functional leaders and team members in the delivery of this system, as well our banking counterparts. The role requires managing timely deliverables with strong communication and cross functional partnering skills with the ability to gain shared vision on challenging decisions which impact various offerings. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment. This position is based in Tracy, CA.  Primary Responsibilities: Partner with team members in creating and implementing a strategic solution; Collaborate with other team members to ensure a unified solution across banking partners; Coordinate efforts with Product Development for integration with front-end and back-end services; Leverage skills and a knowledge of internal and external technology to influence business and product strategies; Design and code technical solutions as identified by supervisor and management; Develop and maintain relationship with the banking counterpart; Interpret bank specification documentation, and implement within existing architecture; Communicate and enforce coding standards; Perform complete testing of applications: unit, system and acceptance testing and report results; Maintain and enhance existing programs, and suggest improvements to supervisor and management; Write and maintain programming documentation; Maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive data being processed, stored and/or accessed; Document programming issues and resolutions for future reference; and Other duties as assigned.  Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related experience; Experience in development of banking/financial transaction processing solutions; Experience in end-to-end development lifecycle and post-launch production support; SOAP, XML, .NET, OOP, COBOL, Java and SQL; Experience with Windows OS, Linux and Unix systems; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work additional hours as needed; Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized; Respond proactively to training, technical support and customer service needs in line with provided guidelines; Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently; and Strong verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
