Research commodity information using the National Motor Freight Classification for applicable description and class. Enter corrections on shipments that are incorrectly described, applying the accurate class. Upload documents / pictures into the image system for review by Account Executives and customers. Maintain the reports necessary to measure corrections activity and revenue recovery. Complete Customer Profiles as directed by the Billing Department. Ensure all corrections are issued in a timely manner to minimize the number of corrected invoices to our customers. Utilization of all current NMFC provisions including Rules and Packaging. Ability to explain and document classification corrections for all involved parties.   Perform other duties as assigned. Prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location.

Using the sales and marketing plan, collaborate with the database manager and graphic designer to create and implement localized sales programs in all circulation areas that will enhance local site objectives as well as support the corporate strategy. Develop standardized approaches across multiple markets that maximize current resources. Monitor home delivery direct response sales and retention budget, including volumes and expenses. Monitor CPO and CPU by sales channel and property to gauge effectiveness of campaigns. Manage integrated direct response programs including, but not limited to, in-paper ads, direct mail, email, inserts and internet. Project scope includes coordination of creative, printing postage, fulfillment and scheduling. Facilitate timely launch of programs. Oversight of contract fulfillment by outside sales vendors. Monitor retention programs orchestrated and stops data and execute programs to extend the average life of the subscribers. Ensure continuous use of customer touch-point processes. Manage the subscriber billing process, coordinating the growth of new print and electronic features and customized bill messaging, and working with Accounting and IT to ensure accurate and on time billing. Facilitate communication of promotions to sites and to the COE, auditing GICS applications and work with the Data Control Associate to update and maintain information. Act as liaison between departments and units to ensure resolution of customer issues, projects come in on plan and deadlines are met. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Be professional, courteous and timely in every interaction, conveying to all external customers our appreciation for their business.
